For the Hummus you'll need

Yes this is it!

2 cups Garbanzo beans/white chickpeas/ kabulli chana soaked overnight or if using from a can, use directly after washing
5-6 small cloves of Garlic
juice of 1 lemon
2 tbspn Tahini paste (soak sesame seeds in water for an hour, add olive oil and blend till emulsified)
Salt to taste
1-2 tbsp curd/ yogurt
Olive oil to garnish
Paprika to garnish
Pinch of love

To make

Take lemon juice and garlic in the blender first and liquidify cause we don't want any chunks of garlic in the Hummus. Add the garbanzo beans, salt, tahini paste and blend just till it almost reaches a paste. I like it a little chunky. Taste for seasoning. Adjust accordingly. Incase the hummus looks dry, this is when you add curd and blend again. Transfer it to the serving bowl. Pour some Olive oil before serving. Garnish with Paprika and serve with love! oh btw, did you know that hummus simply means chickpeas or garbanzo beans in the middle east? :)
